As a third-year doctoral student in Clinical Psychology, her work is focused on trauma recovery, post-traumatic growth, and the challenges of acculturation. Mayrane holds a B.A. in Psychology (Applied Emphasis) and has experience working with immigrant and Indigenous populations, as well as survivors of sexual assault and trauma. Being an immigrant herself, she deeply understands the intricacies of adapting to a new culture and is committed to providing support that honours each individual’s cultural background.

Mayrane’s client-centred approach is dedicated to fostering resilience and empowerment, ensuring that each person feels understood and supported as they work toward healing and well-being. She is dedicated to helping clients from diverse backgrounds overcome various challenges, whether related to trauma, cultural adjustment, or other life transitions.

As an intern, Mayrane is currently offering low cost sessions at $100 (per 50 mins).
